Course Name: Usability Testing
In this course you will learn how to conduct usability tests for products in different stages of development – concepts to products. We start with an introduction to usability testing, what it entails and where it fits in the product development lifecycle. Then we move on to planning a usability testing study – the variables to take into account, what metrics to test, how to set goals, and writing a script or discussion guide. After this we demonstrate how to conduct a UT, how it differs for a concept vs a product, and also how to prepare for in-person as well as remote testing. Lastly, we will show you how to analyze the data you get from a UT and how to write a report that is effective and actionable for your stakeholders. We will end the course with you presenting your UT reports.
